At Tula PT, balance isn’t just a concept—it’s our way of life. Rooted in the Sanskrit meaning of “balance,” we are dedicated to creating a work environment that supports our physical therapists in thriving both personally and professionally.

While we expect our therapists to provide exceptional, personalized care to every patient they treat, we also prioritize a healthy workflow and balanced lifestyle for our team members. At Tula PT, full-time employment is 32 treatment hours per week, with absolutely no double-bookings to avoid PT burnout. Our philosophy is simple: fulfilled and energized therapists deliver exceptional care, which is why we focus on creating an energizing workplace that fosters practitioner growth.

As Tula physical therapists, we embody and practice the principles of healing, movement, and wellness that we bring to our clients. We’re seeking team members who are passionate about supporting clients on their recovery journey. 🌿 Grounding Wisdom 🌿

Let’s delve into the science of being grounded! 🌱 Did you know that our feet serve as conduits for the Earth’s electrical energy? Strengthening the intricate muscles in our feet not only enhances biomechanical function but also optimizes our body’s balance and stability.

👣 Your feet are like roots, anchoring you to the earth’s powerful energy. By cultivating strength in your feet, you can improve posture, prevent injuries, and even promote better circulation throughout your body.

🌟Here are three simple exercises to help you strengthen them:

1️⃣ Toe Spread: Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor. Spread your toes as wide as possible, then release. Repeat 10 times.

2️⃣ Heel Raises: Stand tall with feet hip-width apart. Lift your heels off the ground, balancing on the balls of your feet. Slowly lower back down. Repeat 30 times. To make this hard: perform off the edge of a step or on 1 leg!

3️⃣ Toe Yoga: Sit or stand with your feet flat on the floor. Lift your big toe while keeping the other four toes on the ground. Then, lower your big toe and lift the other four toes. Repeat this movement 10 times for each foot.

Whether it’s through mindful movement practices, barefoot walks in nature, or these simple exercises, prioritize nurturing this vital connection to the earth.
