The Rozzies are a community awards ceremony hosted by Roslindale Village Main Street celebrating the people and businesses that make our community thrive. Awards will be presented on Thursday, April 30 from 6-8pm here at The Substation.

It’s a tight competition - we’re nominated alongside some other fantastic local businesses - many of whom we have collaborated with over the last year. We're cheering everyone on!!

Here's what's happening at The Substation this week!

🎸 Thurs 4/23, 7-11pm: Open Circuit - our new open mic style night where all talents are welcome to the stage. Sign up in advance at our link in bio!

🎮 Fri 4/24 is everyone's favorite Game Night with .lan ! Come with the kids and family from 4-7pm, and adults only from 7-11pm. Friend and Rozzident Dan Cullen introduces and tabletop games at 7pm.

🫶 Sat 4/25, 12-4pm is Wellness Fair, followed by The Substation's regular bar hours: 4-7pm is family-friendly, and 7-11pm is adults only.

APPRECIATION POST for our dearest VAL! If you've been to The Substation Bar, chances are high that you've felt the warmth and heart emanating from this beautiful team leader and community champion. She is moving back to Texas, and tonight is her final bartending shift with us. Please come through and wish her well!! You know you'll miss those epic Val hugs as much as we will.

Val has been a part of our bartending team since we got our liquor license over a year ago. As our lead bartender, she boosted team spirit, introduced tools and systems to keep us operating smoothly, brought you BINGO and trivia, and she built connection and community through her genuine, warm presence at so many of our events. We are so grateful for every smile, every idea, every effort, and every moment of fun she has poured into this team and community.

We send you off with all the love!! Thank you, Val!!

But EVERY month, YOU get to be the star! Our karaoke nights are fun, chill, and for anyone looking to express themselves and connect with community. SB John hosts a no-judgement night of singing (or listening and cheering on, if that’s more your speed). Engage with any of our social posts/stories to be entered into our Resident Rock Star drawing: with perks like jumping the queue and making song requests!

Exciting MENU SPECIALS this weekend! We're introducing new cocktails and cans for Spring, alongside our stellar wine list and rotating list of local, independent brewers, which means we're saying goodbye to some classics.

🎸 3/26: Open Circuit at 7pm! Bring your guitar, voice, juggling balls, jazz shoes, or anything else to show off your art...or to hop in on a collab or jam session. This night is all about celebrating local artists and supporting each other. Sign up in advance through our link in bio or on site.
