“Closure”

If you’re looking for closure,
let me tell you this:
The lack of respect was the closure.
The silence? That was your answer.
No apology came — and that was the truth speaking louder than words ever could.

The absence of care,
the missing accountability,
the dishonesty dressed as confusion —
that was it.
That was the ending.

You don’t need their permission to heal.
You don’t need their guilt to move forward.
Sometimes closure isn’t a door gently shut.
Sometimes, it’s one that slams —
and you finally realize
you were never meant to wait on the other side.
