APPRAISE is new research study at the Massachusetts General Hospital Emergency Department involving patients with possible life-threatening injuries. This study will enroll patients with injuries that may prevent them from participating from informed consent.

Feedback from the community will be provided to regulators, including the Mass General Brigham institutional review board and the US FDA. Based on community feedback, these regulators will decide whether to approve the study and/ or require additional modifications to the protocol.

Our lab specializes in analysis of temporal data, development of clinical software, and clinical trials. One central question underlies our work: How can new technology enable emergency care that is safer, more effective, and more efficient?
