Repost: Go Sandy! She finished her first Ironman Triathlon after diagnosis and treatment for a brain aneurysm by Dr. Malek and the tufts Medical Center team. They performed a procedure using special coils to stabilize the blood vessel.

“I feel very lucky,” Sandy told WCVB Channel 5. “And not only to be here but to be able to do the types of physical activities that I want to do.”
