We recognize that the field of health care has historically been complicit in perpetuating health inequities by harming Black individuals and denying access to care. Today in the US, a shortage of diverse providers, culturally insensitive care, and worse health outcomes for Black patients are evidence that health care organizations - including SHS - still have work to do. We are committed to doing this work and providing care that strives to be inclusive and culturally sensitive to the identities, needs, and experiences of all BU students. Swipe to learn about a few of many Black voices on campus and resources for students.
