Tufts Health Literacy Leadership Institute

Tufts Health Literacy Leadership Institute The Institute is limited to 20 participants to allow for in-depth interaction and feedback from faculty and peers.

The class takes place on Tufts University's Health Sciences Campus in downtown Boston. This one-week Institute directly supports the work of professionals engaged in health literacy work to transform public health and healthcare delivery in the United States and across the globe. Peer learning and the sharing of research and best practice are core components of the Institute's educational approach. Participants work on a curriculum or educational program of their choice resulting in a final product that is current, comprehensive, informed by research, and reflective of best practice.

Plain Language for Health (PL4H) is now online!

Tufts has prohibited all in-person events, and is moving all educational activities online. PL4H Online will still take place April 16-17, 2020. The instructional design will still provide participants with an opportunity to work with health literacy and plain language experts, meet and learn from each other, engage in paired and large group discussion, work on individual activities offline and in breakout rooms, and more.

PL4H Online is NOT a Webinar! Our faculty have extensive experience teaching online and working with technology to facilitate engaging, learner-centered online learning. Space is limited. Register at:
