Event Notes: Join MLCA members and colleagues for a presentation by Elina Karagiannakou, SLP, IBCLC.

Elina is dual certified in speech language pathology and lactation consultation. Elina has been practicing for over 20 years in major hospitals and rehabilitations centers and currently works as part of the Spaulding/Salem Hospital network and BMC. She has a special interest in supporting families of infants with oral feeding difficulties for both breast and bottle feeding. She loves working as part of a team and helping families achieve their feeding goals. Elina hopes to promote the professional landmark of lactation consultants in the healthcare setting by applying for the one year board member position at MLCA.

Kim works with small businesses and individual practitioners to help manage their finances.

Topic:
Kim will provide financial management tips, covering tracking income, expenses, fees, and managing employees or contractors. She will also discuss the distinction between personal and business expenses, clarify common financial terminology, and suggest useful financial tools. Kim will answer your previously submitted questions. There will also be time for a live Q&A.
