🎓✨As we celebrate this new milestone for our Community Health Nurses, we share with you this short clip to inspire you with what they have achieved through their dedication and desire to serve rural communities in The Gambia.

“HSSP (Healthcare Support and Strategy Project) has been very vital and supportive in many ways. It has reduced financial burdens in terms of school fees and students’ vocational materials…. It has allowed me to focus on my education and to be inculcated with the right nursing skills and knowledge that I will use to go out to people in the most remote parts of this country to offer them the most needed primary health care services.”

🎓✨We are thrilled to announce the graduation of the first cohort of HSSG-sponsored community health nurses (CHNs) in The Gambia!

🩹🩺With this achievement, rural villages across the country will now have access to basic community health care services, provided by this passionate and inspired group of youth.

🌟None of this would have been possible without your support - thank you to our dedicated global network for helping secure the education of the cohort!

🌟📚And this is just the beginning - another 20 youth have begun training as the second cohort of HSSG-sponsored nurses, and need your support. Please donate at the link below to support this initiative and improve rural access to basic health care in more communities across the region. https://secure.givelively.org/donate/solhealth-corp/healthcare-strengthening-and-support-in-the-gambia
