Shriners Children's Boston is spotlighting our remarkable patients as part of Burn Awareness Week.

Maci is a burn survivor who is thriving after receiving care at our hospital. She sustained severe burns after becoming trapped in a house fire. “I’m grateful for where my story has taken me,” said Maci. “I got married on my burn anniversary to take my day back. I turned the worst day of my life into the best day of my life.”
