BRAVO! We are so proud of the Me2 Flute Choir for their fabulous performance at the Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention today!

The ensemble - consisting of 22 flutists, one service dog, and Conductor Eileen Yarrison - has spent the weekend sharing music and mental health messages, while being inspired by other flutists from throughout the region. We are grateful to our friends at Haynes Flutes for sponsoring our participation at the convention.

We are so proud of you, Me2 Flute Choir members! Safe travels as you return to MA later today.

Meet Juan Rosales-Pasquier, flutist and composer! Juan is a member of the Me2 Flute Choir and will be traveling with the ensemble for presentations at the Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention this coming weekend. Juan’s composition, Suite Leyenda, will be performed during a massive sight-reading session at the convention on Saturday. 🔥

Juan is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, and he is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at the Longy School of Music.

We are grateful for Juan’s commitment to inclusion as demonstrated through his leadership in the Me2 Flute Choir - and we are excited for all of our flutists traveling to the Mid-Atlantic Convention this weekend!

About Me2/ (“me, too”)

Me2/ is the world's only classical music organization created for individuals with mental illnesses and the people who support them. We currently host two full orchestras in Burlington, VT and Boston, MA; an affiliate program in Portland, OR; and a flute ensemble in Boston, MA. We perform in concert halls as well as non-traditional venues including hospitals, prisons and rehabilitation centers. Our mission is to erase the stigma surrounding mental illness through supportive rehearsals and inspiring performances.
