Listening and responding is one of two core skills in Embodied Resilience!
This skill seems incredibly simple, but it’s so powerful and needed that I start and end every session with it — and it changes every time, for every client.
This is because is so common when folks experience — it can feel like really hard to communicate with your body!
When we build a relationship with the body, we can learn to receive its signals without fear. And, importantly, to respond!
Eventually, we build up the skill (just like building muscle!) so that folks are able to do this by themselves during challenging moments.
