✅ People seeking help for addiction deserve treatment that works.

❌ So why do so many end up in programs that don’t?

Because there aren’t clear standards. On top of that, cost, insurance, and marketing can all get in the way of finding the right care.

The result? Too many people don’t get the support they need to recover.

❤️ Shatterproof is working to change that. Learn more at ➡️ https://bit.ly/4qTkfyI

Research shows that bystanders are more likely to be called upon to use naloxone than CPR.

The truth is that naloxone is safe and effective. It's an emergency response tool — just like an EpiPen or an inhaler. Carrying naloxone saves lives.

Ryan was a kind and gentle person. He loved with all of his heart. He was generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. A true old soul.

Ryan would like to be remembered as a kind, loving, generous happy person, who loved music and dancing. I pray he’s dancing up in heaven and laughing that contagious laugh. 💙

It started with a simple belief:

Overdose deaths are preventable.

In 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved over-the-counter naloxone — removing prescription barriers and expanding access nationwide.

A milestone years in the making.

A victory for families everywhere — including ours.

Because naloxone saves lives.

Addiction doesn’t erase the person you love.

Substance use disorder may change parts of their life, but it doesn’t erase who they are. They still deserve dignity, compassion, and support.

Recovery begins when we choose to see the person, not the stigma.

"The thing I will miss most about my sister is her beautiful laugh and smile. She had a way of making everyone who met her love her. Even if you were angry with her, she could still make you smile. She had the biggest smile that could light up the entire world.

She loved so freely, fiercely and unconditionally. She didn’t care about your flaws or shortcomings. She just gave love and didn’t expect anything in return. She was also very generous with her time and love and always gave the most."

❤️Honor your loved one at the National Addiction Memorial.
