Major injuries are a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, but recovery is about more than survival.

We’re proud to share that the ICHOM Set of Patient-Centred Outcome Measures for Major Injury has been published in The Lancet eClinicalMedicine.

Chaired by Professor Belinda Gabbe (Monash University), this milestone publication represents the efforts of an international, multidisciplinary Working Group of clinicians, researchers, and patient representatives.

The Set defines what truly matters to people living with major injuries, measuring not only survival, but also long-term physical, emotional, and social recovery.
