The biggest myth about breast implants? That they last forever. They don’t.
When is it time to exchange your breast implants?
Replacing them is about timing, your body, your goals, and how they’re aging with you.
Lifetime is generally thought to be about 10-12 years but there are signs you shouldn’t ignore:
1. Changes in shape or position
2. Firmness or tightness
3. Implant rupture or deflation
4. Rippling or visible edges
5. You simply want a different size or look
It isn’t always about when they were placed but how they’re performing.
If something feels off, it’s worth a conversation.
