Applications Now Open for MGH Biomedical Research Internship Program for Students and Mentors (Summer 2025)!

Students:

The Massachusetts General Hospital Biomedical Research Internship Program is now accepting applications for Summer 2025! We aim to help promising students explore early interest in the biomedical sciences by offering an opportunity to conduct original investigative research in many positions and roles suited to their scientific interests. With thought-leading experts in translational sciences, epidemiology, computational biology, and immunology, prospective scholars will have the unique opportunity to learn, grow, and expand their skills and professional network. This internship is an 8-week program that begins on June 9th, 2025, and ends on August 1st, 2025. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week during the program and reside in the Boston metro area, given the in-person requirements. Participating interns will be granted a stipend of $4,500 for the summer. The MGH Biomedical Research Internship Program is now accepting faculty mentor applications for the 2025 program. The internship program provides a summer opportunity to conduct research, specifically targeting historically underrepresented students in the biomedical research sciences. If you want to lead students into the fast-paced, pragmatic world of research, please consider applying as a mentor! This internship is an 8-week program that begins on June 9th, 2025 and ends on August 1st, 2025. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week during the program and work an agreed-upon hybrid or in-person schedule determined by their mentor. Participating interns will be granted a stipend of $4,500 for the summer. You can find additional information on our website. Applications are due Friday, January 3rd, by 5pm.
