We’re growing our Boston-based pelvic health team - Again!

We’re seeking a full-time pelvic floor therapist with a minimum of two years of pelvic health experience who wants to practice in a way that feels unrushed, relationship-centered, and deeply human.

At Wellest, clinicians are given the time, trust, and autonomy to care for the whole person. We offer one-on-one, hour-long sessions, meaningful mentorship, and a calm, collaborative environment where curiosity, presence, and clinical integrity are valued.

If you’re drawn to care that is gentle, rooted, and deeply intentional - and want to feel supported as a whole person at work - we’d love to hear from you!

Please submit your resume and cover letter to hello@wellesthealth.com or visit our website for more information.

If you’re looking for a meaningful gift for a new mom, someone recovering postpartum, or anyone navigating pelvic floor challenges, a gift card for pelvic floor therapy is a thoughtful way to say: I see you, and your healing matters.

Pelvic floor therapy can support everything from core strength and bladder control to postpartum recovery and overall confidence. It’s care that goes deeper than the surface - and often something people don’t think to invest in for themselves.

Call us today to give the gift of support, strength, and healing.

Staying hydrated hits different when you’re postpartum and breastfeeding - because it’s not just about drinking water, it’s about actually absorbing it.

Electrolytes help a person better absorb the water they are intaking and can be very helpful with managing constipation postpartum. LMNT packages include sodium, magnesium, and potassium making it an ideal solution for hydration.

We’re always recommending LMNT to our patients - and drinking it ourselves, too!

Pelvic floor work for men is often reduced to one word: kegels. But your body is asking for more than that.

The pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation, it’s part of a larger system that includes your breath, your posture, and how you move through strength. Sometimes it needs to relax. Sometimes it needs to coordinate. And sometimes, it builds strength naturally through the way you lift, hinge, squat, and stabilize.

If you’re already training, this isn’t about starting over. It’s about refining - how you breathe, how you move, how you support your body as a whole.

If you’re curious to learn more, we’ve shared a link in our stories to our recent blog post on exercises for men’s pelvic floor. If you’re not sure where to begin, we’re here to help you make sense of it. Reach out when you’re ready.

Pelvic floor tension in men is more common than you think - it just isn’t talked about enough.

Many men we see aren’t dealing with weakness, but with too much holding. Long hours sitting, stress, breath holding, even pushing through workouts without awareness… it can all lead to a pelvic floor that stays “on” all the time.

Over time, that tension can show up as discomfort, urinary changes, or changes in sexual function.

This is where we begin - not by adding more effort, but by creating space to release. Slowing the breath. Softening the body. Relearning what relaxation feels like.

If this sounds familiar, start simple. One breath, one position, one moment of letting go.

And if you’re ready to better understand what your body is holding onto, we’re here to help. See link in our stories to learn more about how to perform each of these stretches.

We’re here to help you explore it. Reach out when you’re ready.

Growth, for us, has never just been about numbers. It’s about people, trust, and the work we get to do every day.

We’re honored to share that Wellest has been named to the 2026 Inc Regionals list of the fastest-growing companies in the Northeast!

This recognition reflects something deeper than growth - it speaks to the community that continues to show up, do the work, and trust us with their care. We don’t take that lightly. If you’d like to see the full list, you can find it at the link in our stories.

And as always, we’re here when you need support.

Struggling with bloating, constipation, or ongoing gut discomfort?

Pelvic floor physical therapy offers more than you might think, especially with a gentle, hands-on technique called visceral manipulation (VM). This approach helps restore movement and function of your internal organs, supporting better digestion and symptom relief.

By addressing restrictions caused by surgery, inflammation, or tension, VM improves organ mobility and enhances how your digestive system functions. It also promotes better coordination between the abdomen and diaphragm while calming the gut-brain connection - key factors in reducing digestive discomfort and pelvic floor issues.

If you’re dealing with persistent gut or pelvic floor symptoms, visceral manipulation may be a helpful addition to your care plan. Reach out today to learn if it’s right for you!
