We’ve officially crossed the threshold. After the high-intensity "portal" of February’s eclipses, the dust is beginning to settle. March is our month to ground, integrate, and find our center as the days begin to balance out into equal parts light and dark.

New Moon. New Year. New Way to Move. 🌑✨

The energy of today’s Lunar New Year and Solar Eclipse is all about alignment—shedding the old patterns to make room for a more authentic way of being.

To honor this shift, Zen Heart is evolving. We are officially updating our schedule and introducing Somatic Yoga—the art of coming home to your body.

✨ Somatic Yoga will now be offered at 5p on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are familiar with our Hatha classes at those times don't think of this as a removal of this type of practice but as a clarification of what we were already offering. Somatic is a more authentic description of the intentional, internal practice you already know and love (with a little more focus on the inward connection).

Somatic yoga isn’t about how the pose looks; it’s about how it feels from the inside. It’s a conversation with your nervous system designed to 'un-stick' chronic stress and create a deep sense of safety in your own skin. It’s a slow, investigative practice that retrains your nervous system to let go of what it no longer needs to carry.

In addition to this Tue and Thur class change we are also shedding the Move & Groove class on Fridays. It is possible we will see this practice return to the schedule at some point but for now we are releasing it to make room for other opportunities to arise.

This schedule change is our way of clearing the path for you to move with more ease, more breath, and more grace in this new year.

We are so excited to continue to evolve with the changing energies and look forward to sharing this "new" practice with the community!

Gentlemen, it’s time to change the narrative on what it means to be 'fit.'

We’re thrilled to introduce Zen Men—a monthly workshop created specifically for the guys in our community to explore mindfulness, mobility, and mental clarity without the ego.

No prior movement experience is required.
What is required is a willingness to take ownership of your body and your role.

This is a men’s movement practice for those ready to stand with integrity in their bodies and their lives.

This practice calls men forward—not to dominate, but to stabilize; not to escape life, but to meet it with composure, clarity, and grounded strength.

Through natural, functional movement, breath-work, and rhythm, we train posture, positioning, and breathing mechanics so that robust strength becomes organized and increasingly effortless—not forced, reactive, or brittle.

This is not performance training.
This is training for life.

This practice develops:
✅ Presence through posture
✅ Strength that transfers into daily life and relationships
✅ A nervous system that remains steady under pressure
✅ The heart as a center of courage, responsibility, and discernment
