Community involvement has always been an essential part of our mission at Capstone. This year, we’re honored to support a local organization called Engedi Refuge. Engedi is dedicated to providing a safe, healing environment for women who have survived human trafficking, offering a residential program that helps these women recover and reintegrate into healthy, fulfilling lives. Throughout November and December, each of the clinics at Capstone will have a donation box with a list of needed items for Engedi’s residential homes. By contributing even a small item, we can collectively make a big difference in these women’s journeys toward recovery. Please consider donating and encouraging patients to participate as well.
Additionally, Capstone will match all monetary donations up to $10,000, doubling the impact of each gift! There will be envelopes and brochures at each clinic. Donations can be made by Venmo, credit card or check and mailing the envelope to Engedi. If paying by Venmo please make a note designating “Capstone matching “ in order for us to know to match the funds.

Donation Suggestions for Engedi Refuge

$10 Walmart gift cards: We have a treasure chest at the Learning Center where we keep incentive gift items for our residents. If a resident goes above and beyond in her chores or other outstanding behavior in the course of the week, the house manager will give her a treasure chest key and on Friday, she can bring the key and exchange it for something in the treasure chest. All items in the treasure chest are $10 or less.

WINCO gift cards: a general grocery gift card would be a great boost to our food budget at the safe house.
