Here is another way to release fascia all on your own: Fascial gliding. This is an intense modality, but extremely beneficial. It often feels like your skin is ripping off. But, it releases the facia really well and helps create space around your bones and joints. Give this technique a try and let me know how it goes for you in the comments below!

Do you get heel pain? Do you have plantar fasciitis? Or your calves tight? In this video I will give you my three tips for feeling better from plantar fasciitis and related pains! I’ve noticed with most of my client that plantar fasciitis is caused by the fascia in the lower leg area. We use a Graston tool to release the fascia in the specific spots. If you’re looking to purchase a grass and tool, go to the link in my bio and find my Amazon storefront. Any size works, it’s just based on preference!

You can always stop halfway on the run, mid set of your lifts or during a water break and roll out the area hurting. This can help prevent exasperating the injury and help minimize pain during the workout!!!

Do you lack hip mobility? Do you get pain in your hips or are recovering from a hip injury? The TFL is one of our stabilizing muscles and an external rotator in the hip. It is always very tight and can help a ton with range of motion and back pain!

In this release, we use the QL Claw. This is genuinely the only tool I’ve found that can easily target and release your TFL muscle in a safe way. It is extremely easy to use and (most importantly) IT WORKS. I am regularly recommending this tool to my clients with hip and low back pain. It is worth the investment.

To purchase your QL Claw, go to the link in my bio or visit: www.backmusclesolutions.com and use code: ELITE20 for 20% off your purchase!

You tried the regular soleus release last week with the foam roller, but have you tried the anterior soleus release? This is the same muscle but a different attachment point. If you get any tension in your inner low leg, give this one a try! Releasing the anterior soleus is also really good for shin splints and general calf tension.
