📊 DATA REMOVES GUESSWORK
At Fullswift, we’re leaning even harder into isometric strength testing to drive data-informed clinical decisions.
Why?
Because injuries don’t just “happen.”
They spring leaks first.
Isometric testing helps us find the leaks — so we can seal them up and rebuild resilience, preventing future injury 💪
Here’s what we’re tracking across throwers, overhead athletes, field athletes, skiers, runners, jumpers, hoopers & racquet sport athletes:
🔹 Shoulder Strength Ratios (ER : IR)
• Target ≈ >.75
• Translation: if external rotators can’t keep up → shoulder stress goes 📈
• Key for throwers, swimmers, climbers, CrossFit & racquet athletes
🔹 Hamstring : Quad Ratios
• Target ≈ >.6 (isometric testing)
• Decreased HS strength >> elevated risk for knee injuries. Consider symmetry.
• Critical for runners, skiers, jumpers, field & court athletes
📈 This isn’t about chasing “perfect” numbers. Just one of the things we consider in a broader comprehensive functional evaluation strategy. It’s about individual baselines, side-to-side symmetry, and sport-specific demands.
Assess → Address → Adapt → Perform
That’s how we help Boulder’s athletes stay healthy, durable, and performing at a high level — season after season.
