the eyes convey quite a bit of emotion.
she has a combination of lax eyelid skin, significant ptosis, and droopy brows.
essentially a combination of all the major etiologies of a droopy eye area.
while the eye approach was overall straightforward (blepharoplasty and ptosis repair), the brow approach had many options (direct, temporal, forehead/hairline approach, volume addition, etc)
when this happens, we discuss the + and - of each approach and decide on what approach closely aligns with patients goals, anatomy, and sometimes patient anesthesia preference.
in this case we chose a direct small outer brow reposition.
two weeks later, she looks absolutely radiant.
the eyes say it all.
