What’s on tap for Soulbrite OT nature/Farm camps this summer? We are coming back and expanding even bigger for year #4! What do we want to expand on this year? What’s possible for our kiddos to have an extraordinary-connective and regulated summer 2026?!

Music/ gardening/farm animals/ the Starhouse sacred land/ incredibly talented therapist and teachers?

I’m so grateful to serve this incredible growing community. I’m excited for what’s next!

That’s a wrap on Soulbrite OT Camp Year 3! 🌟

What an incredible journey it’s been—full of exploration, creative problem-solving, and deep connections through hands-on nature experiences. These amazing kiddos demonstrated grit, flexibility, and resilience as they adapted to the ever-changing Colorado weather and embraced the natural flow of the land.

I’m so proud of their creativity this year! With just a few props—string, tape, and shovels—they became true masterminds of invention. From building an enormous spider web to designing a log powerline and even a police station, their imaginations knew no bounds.

This summer was a beautiful reminder of the magic that happens when children are given space to explore, create, and connect.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful families and the amazing teachers who are truly the heart of Soulbrite—your care, presence, and brightness make all of this possible. 💛

🧠 Want to help kids manage big emotions?

💥 When a child feels unsafe, their brain can shift into fight, flight, or freeze mode. This survival response is powerful and it can block learning, attention, and emotional control.

✨ The good news? The brain can change.

🔁 Through repeated, safe, and supportive experiences, we can help rewire the brain. These moments send a signal: You’re safe now.

💗 That safety allows information to move from the emotional centers (amygdala and hippocampus) to the prefrontal cortex—where thinking, reasoning, and regulation happen.

🌱 So let’s focus less on “fixing behavior” and more on building trust, safety, and connection.

That’s where real growth begins. 💪

We soaked up summer fun with water play, picked juicy raspberries at Earthstar Garden, and made delicious popcicles together. Our hands were busy and our senses delighted as we created blueberry-lavender playdough and gathered fresh flowers and herbs from the land to craft calming lavender bundles.

This week, we explored mindful listening, breathing, eating, and walking—tuning into our bodies and the natural world around us. Partner yoga brought giggles and connection, and our motor skills were in full gear as we climbed, balanced, and pushed ourselves to new heights. These kids rock!

Can you believe it? Next week is our final week of camp—and we can’t wait to make it just as magical.

Soulbrite OT Camp is in Full Swing! ☀️🌿

Our campers have kicked off summer with joy, curiosity, and connection at both the beautiful Starhouse land and Salt Creek Farm!

At the farm we’ve been tuning into the animals around us—learning to listen to their signals for play and interaction—and showing incredible resiliency through all kinds of Colorado weather! 💪🌧️☀️

From baking dandelion cookies to balancing on the slackline, climbing trees, making music, building boats, and using cooperative play skills with new friends, it’s been a season of exploration, creativity, and growth. 🌼🌳🤝

Week 3 is already off to a fantastic start with rock painting, nature hikes, and plenty of laughter and movement woven into our day.

We can’t wait to see how our campers continue to blossom as the summer unfolds!
