Due to the inclement weather, Monday March 15th, College Optical will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but will resume our normal business hours on Tuesday.

Hello Everyone,

As of Saturday, May 9th, we will resume our normal functions and hours of business.

However, that does not mean that everything is business as usual.

Day-to-day life at College Optical will be a little different for employees and clients.

COVID office protocol (5/9/2020):

- If you are experiencing any signs of illness, please postpone your visit.

- Masks are required upon entry to the office.

- Non-touch temperature readings will be administered to both patients with exams and staff.

- We will be lengthening exam times to provide adequate amount of time for sanitizing and spacing between patients.

- We ask that you observe a 6 foot distance when possible with clients and staff.

- The optical department is open! You must request assistance from an optician and wash your hands prior to trying on frames.

- We will also be offering curbside pickup and free shipping when possible.

- If you are a high-risk client, please feel free to call our office to make special arrangements.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and want to make your visit as comfortable as possible!

Due to the recent "stay at home" order issued by Boulder county we have decided to reduce our hours from 10-2 from now until April 10th.

As an essential business we can still see appointments during this time and we will be able to dispense contacts per usual and glasses fittings by appointment only. We will not be providing walk-in glasses adjustments during this time.

We are more than happy to ship supplies as needed and encourage curbside pick up as much as possible.

For the safety of our staff and clientele we please ask that you postpone any visits to the shop if you have experienced any signs of illness in the last 14 days.

Hello Everyone,

Like you, we're closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. We are continuing business as usual and are following the recommendations we're by now all aware of.

We are taking extra precautions in sanitization between patients. We ask that if you are feeling ill at all for the safety of those around you, please consider rescheduling or coming in at a later date. And we are observing those standards for ourselves as well.

As always during cold and flu season, wash your hands frequently. Avoid touching your face and eyes and stay healthy.
