"I love poking fun at progressive white people", "Racism is a spectrum of behavior beyond just good and bad", and "Being uncomfortable is an important part of the process" are just a few excellent quotes from this talk on whiteness and how we as white people can intentionally and unintentionally shut down the conversation around racism.

Learning about how racism permeates our culture and history is important, and allows us as white people to see the full extent of the problem (which is often hidden from us) and get creative about finding ways to support our brothers and sisters of color to make a better world for all of us. When they suffer, we all suffer.

On a personal note I have done almost ALL of the unintentionally racist things Dr. DiAngelo mentions in this video, and I am committed to doing better.
