Over time, I learned that adversity does not have to define us. It can refine us.

Our Story

facebook.com/preventabusiverelationships is owned and managed by Partners in Prevention, a charitable organization committed to Domestic Abuse Intervention and Healing.

Partners in Prevention is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization committed to helping bridge healthcare delivery and domestic abuse victim advocacy. We are devoted to insuring that healthcare intervention and treatment for domestic violence survivors supports these patients in regaining their safety, health and well-being.

Our primary intervention program is the Intimate Partner Abuse Treatment Program which is a finely tuned domestic violence treatment protocol integrating a psychoeducational intervention promoting change for batterers, and a psychotherapeutic intervention facilitating healing for domestic abuse survivors.

We provide these services coast-to-coast remotely, and find both the delivery method and protocol to be quite effective in helping people create mutually respectful nonviolent communication in their relationships.
