Our devices provide Altered Auditory Feedback (AAF) to correct the auditory processing abnormality that has been associated with stuttering in brain imaging studies. No other stuttering treatment affects this auditory processing abnormality. Our devices provide Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF), which delays the user's voice to his or her ears a fraction of a second; Frequency-Altered Auditory Feedback (FAF), which shifts the pitch of the user's voice in his or her ears (only Casa Futura Technologies has this technology; some other companies claim to have FAF but actually have frequency-shifting which has never been proven to have an effect on stuttering); and Sine-Wave Masking Auditory Feedback (MAF), which synthesizes a sine wave similar to vocal fold phonation and pulls stutterers out of silent blocks. We are developing a biofeedback stuttering treatment device that analyzes vocal fold activity to train you to speak fluently.
