It’s my go-to dessert all summer — especially after we go blueberry picking at the lake in Maine. Warm fruit, simple topping, done. Everyone’s happy.

So the other day I was in the kitchen thinking… what would the Valentine’s version of my favorite crowd-pleaser look like?

Enter: chocolate cherry crumble.

This Chocolate Cherry Crumble is a little richer than my summer blueberry version, but still super simple. Nothing fancy, just something warm you can scoop into bowls and share.

Add watercress to your salads, sprinkle it on top of any dish, or blend it in with your favorite smoothie recipe like Jo does.

Watercress is a powerhouse green. It’s rich in anti-inflammatory superfood, rich in antioxidants, vitamin K, vitamin C, calcium, and phosphorus 💚

It’s also a great source of dietary nitrates, which help promote healthy blood vessels. To be clear, these are different from foods that are high in added nitrates, like aged meats (a known health risk).

Get up and do 10 squats every hour

This may not seem like much, but there’s research to back this up! Regular squat breaks can reduce blood sugar spikes by 21%, help build muscle (squats are a powerful bodyweight exercise), and require 🚫 equipment to do.
