The Yoga of Emotion Workshop

Join psychologist Lynn C. Waelde, Ph.D. for a short workshop to gain a deeper understanding of the role of our emotions and how to choose meditation and spiritual practices that are a good match for our preferences, needs, and capacities.

If you have heard that the mind is the slayer of the soul, you might get the impression that the mind and emotions are obstacles in the path of our meditation, spirituality, and even our happiness. The workshop will teach practical, daily life strategies for using our emotions and experiences to fuel our growth.

Our spiritual growth and happiness don’t advance despite our emotions and past experiences but rather because of them. Our emotions, rather than being the experiences that hold us back, are actually the conditions that make our growth possible, starting from where we are now.
