Earthbody Structural Integration

Earthbody Structural Integration Structural integration is a bodywork modality which works to differentiate layers of fascia to allow greater organization in relationship with gravity.

Do you need help in improving your relationship to gravity? Through the Rolf method of Structural Integration, this is done by contacting stuck places in the fascial tissue of the body through touch. This process takes place in a series of ten sessions. Each session gives the opportunity for impediments to release and allow the structure new options for movement and balanced posture. After going through the series, and after each session, there is the potential for greater awareness and efficiency of movement. This is not a passive experience for the client. You, the client, will work through increased proprioception and subtle movement and postural training which may have profound effects. I first experienced this work after the birth of my third son. At that time I had a lot of stiffness in my legs and feet. I also had chronic pain in my left shoulder and right sacrum. These ailments kept me from the freedom in dance that I had experienced before my son's birth. During my first ten series of structural integration, I experienced profound improvement which inspired me to learn this work to share with others. I am currently offering sessions in Boulder, CO.
