Hi Colorado! Welcome to Alpenglow Counseling.

We’re a small therapy practice serving Boulder County and Denver with in-person sessions, and clients across the state of Colorado through tele-health. Our goal is to create a warm, supportive space where people can explore challenges, build insight, and feel less alone in what they’re going through.

I’m Kaitlyn, and I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life stressors, and anxious attachment patterns. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused, providing a safe space for clients to process what they’re going through while learning practical coping skills to manage stress and anxiety.

Natasha works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and trauma-related concerns. She also enjoys supporting neurodiverse individuals.
She integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and executive functioning skills into her work to help clients build practical tools, increase self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change.

We are both currently accepting new clients and would love to connect.

I am beyond excited to share Alpenglow’s new home with everyone! I had the honor of working with the incredibly talented .brass.atelier to design this space. The amount of love and thought that went into every corner of this space has left me speechless.

I can’t wait to continue walking alongside my clients in this new space.

Special thank you to my designer as well as my best friend and husband for being part of this big day 🤍🤍

Have you ever heard of the miracle question before? It’s one of my favorite things to ask in therapy. Sometimes we can get so stuck circling around a problem, trying to figure out how to fix it. And while I wish I could read minds — I can’t.

But when you imagine what life would look like if things magically got better overnight, it gives me such a clear picture of what you’re really longing for.

This solution-focused approach helps us move from feeling stuck to discovering a direction to move towards.

It’s just w**d… right?

It’s legal, socially accepted, and often seen as harmless. But while it might not lead to the dramatic consequences associated with some other substances, cannabis use can quietly drain your motivation, cloud your thoughts, and disrupt your emotional wellbeing.

Because it’s become so normalized, more people are smoking regularly, feeling flat or unmotivated, and struggling to cut back—even when it’s affecting their mental health. And for many, regular use turns into an addiction that’s hard to recognize and even harder to break.

If you’re starting to question your relationship with cannabis, you’re not alone. The right therapist can offer a space for nonjudgmental conversations, help you explore the full impact of your relationship with w**d, and find ways forward.

“My son has therapy. My mom needs groceries. I need to prepare for a work meeting. And somewhere in there, I'm supposed to engage in self-care."

This is life for many in the sandwich generation—those caring for both their aging parents and their children while juggling careers, relationships, and personal well-being.

With parents living longer and kids needing more emotional support than ever, caregivers are under increasing pressure. The result? Guilt, burnout, resentment, and the kind of tiredness even sleep can’t fix.

These demands can lead to anxiety, strained relationships, and other serious effects—yet caregivers’ own needs are too often pushed aside.

Therapy can help you set boundaries, manage stress, and reconnect with the parts of you that have been left behind.
