🦋 Phase 2 Completion Update 🦋（日本語は下に）
Our Phase 2 class at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute has come to a close.
Becoming a Rolfer involves three Phases, and this journey can be beautifully compared to the metamorphosis of a butterfly.
🌱 Phase 1 is like the caterpillar stage — voraciously consuming knowledge and foundational skills.
🪹 Phase 2 is the chrysalis — diving inward, integrating Rolfing both as giver and receiver.
🦋 Phase 3 is when the cocoon breaks open and the wings begin to spread — the transformation into a butterfly begins.
In this Phase 2, 16 students journeyed together through eight intense and transformative weeks.
They laughed, cried, wrestled with challenges, supported one another, and made it to the final day.
Through receiving and offering Rolfing, they went through not just physical but emotional transformation.
Having witnessed their growth since the very first day of Phase 1, I am truly amazed by the changes I see in them now.
We are not only cultivating technique — we are nurturing the whole human being.
Now, I can clearly see The Line emerging within each of them.
On the final day, in the excitement and emotion, we forgot to take a group photo (!),
so instead, I’m sharing a photo of the butterfly cards and the orchid they gifted me. 🌸🦋
And next month, in August, a brand new class of eager Phase 1 “caterpillars” will begin their journey.

I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to my teaching team — Tara, who guided the Principles Week, and Michael, who supported Weeks 2 through 8. I truly could not have made it to this day without their partnership and presence.
My gratitude also goes to the wonderful office staff who supported us behind the scenes and helped this class flow with care and steadiness.

🦋 Phase 2 修了のご報告 🦋
Dr. Ida Rolf InstituteでのPhase 2クラスが、先日無事に終了しました。
ロルファーになるための道のりは3つのPhaseで構成されています。
その歩みは、まるで蝶の変態のプロセスのようです。
🌱 Phase 1は、知識をむしゃむしゃと吸収する青虫の段階。
🪹 Phase 2は、自分自身の内面と向き合いながら深く潜っていく、サナギの時期。
🦋 そしてPhase 3では、固い殻を破って羽を広げ、本当の意味での「変容」が始まります。
今回のPhase 2では、16名の生徒たちが8週間にわたり、学び、揺れ動き、ときに笑い、涙し、仲間と励まし合いながら歩んできました。
自分自身がワークを受け、施しながら、肉体的にも精神的にも大きなチャレンジを乗り越えた日々。
最終日、彼らの中に確かに“The Line”が見えました。
私はPhase 1の初日から彼らを見守ってきました。
この数ヶ月での変容は本当に目を見張るものがあります。
私たちが育てているのは、技術だけではなく、「人間そのもの」なのだと、改めて実感しています。
ちなみに…最終日、写真を撮るのをすっかり忘れてしまいました！
なので、皆んなからもらった蝶のカードと、胡蝶蘭の写真を代わりにシェアします🌸🦋
そして来月8月からは、新しいPhase 1クラス、つまり元気な青虫たちの旅が始まります。
また、新たな出会いと変容が、ここBoulderで繰り広げられていくことでしょう。
また、プリンシプルズ・ウィークを指導してくれたタラ、そして 2 週目から 8 週目までサポートしてくれたミヒャエル、そして私のティーチングチームにも、心から感謝しています。彼らの協力と存在がなければ、今日までたどり着くことはできなかったでしょう。
また、舞台裏で私たちをサポートし、このクラスを丁寧かつ着実に進行させてくれた素晴らしいオフィススタッフにも、心から感謝しています。
このワークに対する深い感謝と畏敬の念を込めて。
