Yoga isn’t just about what you do on the mat; it’s a holistic approach to how you live your entire life.
In the second half of the Sadhana Pada, Patanjali offers a “spark of hope” by explaining that future suffering can be avoided. He introduces the eight-limbed path (Ashtanga) as the key to this freedom.
This journey includes:
• Yamas & Niyamas: Ethical precepts and how we relate to ourselves and the world.
• Asana & Pranayama: How we hold our physical body and how we breathe.
• Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana & Samadhi: Focusing the mind and moving toward connection.
Ultimately, these practices transform our daily actions — what we say, what we consume, and how we relate — into a sacred act. Yoga is not about restriction or becoming a “perfect being”; it’s about the freedom to be fully present in each moment. 🧘✨
