With over 20 exhibit spaces, there is so much to do for you and your littles from solving a crime in the police station to pretend play as a paleontologist in our paleontology exhibit! We also have daily activities, so be sure to check out facebook or our website to see what is going on!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Grand Opening of our new Sensory Room on October 1 at Exploration Station! 🎉

This space has been thoughtfully designed to offer a calming environment for visitors of all abilities. As Executive Director Mike O'Shea shared, 'Our sensory room is designed with various sensory items including a weighted lap pad, soft lighting, interactive light cubes, and textured walls. It provides an environment where visitors can rest, recharge, and find calm before returning to their exploring! Additionally, Exploration Station now offers sensory bags containing noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, and verbal cue cards, available to any guest who may feel overwhelmed during their visit.'

We would like to extend a special thank you to River Valley Special Recreation Association for sponsoring the Sensory Room. 🌟 We invite you all to visit this exciting new addition on your next trip to Exploration Station.
