In November we held our annual food drive! This year we were able to donate 158 items to Shepherds Watch in Mattoon!
For every item a student brings in, they can give a point to a staff member who will kiss an animal on our Holiday Fun Day!
This year we were graciously able to borrow some donkeys from the Gutt family!

Our Section 8 State Officer visited the Ag classroom for the day! Students participated in leadership activities, learned more about the opportunities in FFA, and had plenty of fun! Thank you Evan Retzlaff for visiting our school!

More holiday traditions continued with our white elephant gift exchange! Hot ticket items this year were a yeti, wig, twister dance, a computer mouse and more! 🎁

🎄One of our favorite traditions is visiting with Ella Besaw residents during the Holidays! We enjoyed visiting with residents, sharing smiles, and delivering small gifts to brighten their day. Experiences like this remind us how important service, kindness, and community truly are.

‼️HOLIDAY PARADE UPDATE :
Due to the extremely cold temperatures forecasted for our area, and the weather not changing for the better, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Holiday Parade. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and community members, and the current weather conditions simply will not allow us to move forward safely.
We know how much everyone looks forward to this festive event, and we share in your disappointment. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans for us this time.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the holiday season.
We will see you next year for our Holiday Parade! ❄️✨

We’re truly fortunate that our Ag classes get to look like this! Hands on learning, time in the barn, and the chance to work with pigs, steers, goats, chickens, and more- what an incredible opportunity for our students to grow, explore, and learn by doing!

From early-morning hunters to dedicated educators, we loved getting the chance to serve you before a hunt or say thank you for all you do. 💙💛
A huge shout-out to our FFA officers who arrived bright and early to cook, set up, and serve with a smile. Your hard work continues to make our chapter proud!

The NTC agronomy department stopped by for a fun filled day of some cool features that are used in modern agronomy today!

🌽 Spray simulator with full operating station and haptic feedback!
🌱 Drone labs where we saw large ag drones and yes students flew some drones!
🚜 Pedal karts outfitted with tractor guidance systems!
