⭐️National FFA Convention 2025 is in the books! ⭐️
DAY 1
- We started our journey to Indy! We stopped at CASE IH to tour the plant and learn all about the production side of CASE IH tractors. Fun fact, they also make New Hollands!
DAY 2
- We started the day touring NCAA Hall of Champions! We were able to explore the building, play trivia of any type of sport, and play some basketball! 🏐🏀🏈⚽️⚾️🥎🎾🏉🎳🥍🥊
- Next we attended the first general session of the 98th Convention & Expo! We listened to speaker A’ric Jackson, whose message was very inspirational. “Don’t be afraid to destroy your box, stop dimming your light to make other people comfortable, and give 110% always.” 👏
- The night ended with the Ernest and Ella Langley concert! 🎶
DAY 3
- The morning started off touring Umbarger show feeds! We learned all about the history of their company, production of feed, and the importance of different types of feed. 🌱
- Later on we attended the 3rd general session where Mary Schreiber, past WI FFA State president, gave her retiring address as a National Officer.
DAY 4
- We attended the 4th general session where our neighbors, Wittenberg Birnamwood FFA, had member Ava Medo win her National Proficiency in goat production! 🐐
- We started our journey home but of course had to stop at Albanese confectionary! 🍭🍫🍬
The week was filled with card playing, exploring the expo/shopping mall, dancing on the main floor, Culver’s ice cream, meeting new people, & lessons learned to last a lifetime!
