Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital at The Medical Center is a continuing care/long term acute care hospital. Sometimes referred to as a “hospital within a hospital,” it operates as an independent entity, providing continuity of care for patients with medically complex conditions and multiple chronic conditions which require long-term stays of 18-35 days in an acute care environment. It is not a nursing home or skilled nursing transitional unit. PATIENT SERVICES

PARKING
Free parking is available on campus for all patients and visitors. Review our maps and directions for parking and entrances for your specific destination. The Medical Center provides parking assistance at no charge for your convenience. For more information, call 270-745-1212 or (270-535-2236. Free Valet Parking is available at the Main Entrance on Park Street, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For details, call 270-745-1212. For patient parking permits for the Cancer Treatment Center, see the receptionist at the cancer center. CAFETERIA
Located on the first floor, The Med Center Cafe offers a daily variety of entrees, grill items, sandwiches, snacks, beverages and more. Monday – Friday
Breakfast: 6:00 a.m. – 10 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Dinner: 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Late: 10:30 p.m. – 1 a.m. Saturday – Sunday
