Autumn 2024 programs are here and there are some big additions!! 🤩

The long anticipated 🍁SATURDAY🍁 classes are finally here for both Flora's Forest Friends, Flora's Forest Friends for Babies, with the newest addition being Little Songs Family Music!! It's going to be a beautiful Autumn season! 🎶🎶

🕺GroovaRoo Babywearing and Prenatal Dance🕺 classes are set to start regularly on Wednesday, October 2nd at Crunchtime Children's Development Center and will be every Wednesday from 5:15 - 6:30! These classes include free fit checks, free on-site playtime for parents who are bringing their older kiddos along, and are taught by KY's only certified babywearing educator!

Almost five years ago I was preparing for birth and parenthood of my first child. At that same time my mom was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive breast cancer, and we were selling our house. It was too much at once. I wanted to labor and deliver with un necessary interventions, and even took a ten week Bradly Birthing class that was great! That didn't happen, but what did happen is I delivered my son who I then needed to eat. It's too bad I didn't take a ten week breastfeeding class, because I had no clue how to feed this most precious thing in the world to me. He quickly lost weight, became jaundice, and every time he nursed we both cried. I felt as if I failed at birth so I couldn't fail at breastfeeding as well. I know a lot of mothers have these same thoughts and feeling, and ladies we need to stop doing this. Finally I reached out and got help from an Amazing IBCLC who was able to help me realize our challenges and offer us solutions to help.

Breastfeeding was such a challenging for me that making sure other families have support on their journey has become my life’s work. For that past five years I have been committed to helping families with breastfeeding. Before opening up Naturally Nourished Lactation Consulting I worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse in Ann Arbor MI. While in that role I have had the countless privilege and honor of assisting the smallest of all babies breastfeed. I’m so thankful to serve the families of Bowling Green, KY by offering kind, professional real help in the comfort of their home. As the areas only in home Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) I am excited to serve you! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and as always keep up the good and so very hard work.
