Last Thursday, we set sail on an unforgettable evening at our Captain’s Gala Themed Dinner! 🛳️✨ Guests enjoyed a stunning Surf & Turf masterpiece crafted by our talented Culinary Team — a perfect pairing of land and sea flavors that had everyone coming back for seconds. 🦞🥩

The night came alive with incredible live music from the Ben DeLong Band, filling the room with energy, laughter, and dancing. 🎶💃

"CHOPPED" Live on the SS WILLOWS BG

What happens when you mix teamwork, creativity, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream? You get one unforgettable cooking showdown here at The Willows at Bowling Green!

Our staff teams took center stage, cooking up incredible dishes for a panel of resident judges — and every recipe featured the secret ingredient: vanilla ice cream!

🥇 1st Place: Our Admissions Team wowed everyone with their incredible "ship tacos" — a fun, flavorful dish that sailed straight into first place! 🚢🌮

🥈 2nd Place: The Environmental Services Team served up comfort in a bowl with their creamy shrimp and potato dish — rich, cozy, and totally delicious. 🥔🦐

🥉 3rd Place: Our Culinary + Clinical Mash-Up Team delivered a crowd favorite with shrimp mac & cheese — cheesy, savory, and full of heart. 🧀❤️

A big thank you to all the teams who brought their creativity and spirit to the table, and to our resident judges who took their role very seriously (with lots of smiles along the way)!

What a splash-tacular day at the National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo! 🚤✨ Our theme week at The Willows of Bowling Green turned into an adventure filled with fascinating boats and endless learning. 🌊📚 Everyone was all smiles as we soaked up knowledge and sunshine! ☀️ It's safe to say we'll be sailing back there soon for another unforgettable trip. Ahoy, mateys! 🚢 It’s Cruise Ship Theme Week at The Willows at Bowling Green, and we kicked off our adventure with a bang, celebrating the legendary Titanic! 🎉 Our Titanic Brunch was a feast fit for the high seas, featuring mouthwatering dishes straight from the original menu. 🥘 Complementing this culinary voyage were enchanting nautical melodies, courtesy of our talented harpist! 🎶

But wait, there’s more! We hosted a Sail Away Party with none other than Popeye himself (Ben DeLong Band) serving up cocktails that could make any sailor swoon. 🍹 As the sun set, we gathered for an evening movie screening of the Titanic, complete with popcorn and lots of “I’ll never let go, Jack!” moments. 😄
