Our craft room has been buzzing with holiday cheer, and we’ve been as busy as Santa’s elves getting creative! 🎅🧝‍♂️
From making festive holiday decoupage coasters, painting beautiful Christmas bulbs, and building (and admiring!) gingerbread houses, to so much more, our residents have truly embraced the Christmas spirit. 🎨🏠🍬
The laughter, creativity, and festive fun made each project extra special—and the results are absolutely wonderful! We love seeing everyone’s unique holiday flair shine through. ❤️

A couple of our residents had the opportunity to enjoy an outing to Children’s Wonderland, and it was truly a sight to see! 🌟
From the twinkling lights to the beautifully decorated displays, everything sparkled with holiday magic. The smiles, laughter, and moments of awe made the day extra special—and the festive atmosphere was simply unforgettable. 💖 🎅

Santa checked his list… then checked it again… then laughed and handed out certificates 🤭
This year, some of our naughtiest residents were officially recognized by the big guy in red for their exceptional commitment to mischief, sass, and general shenanigans. 😈✨
No coal was harmed in the making of these awards—just a few laughing elves and some very official, very serious Joking Certificates of Naughty Achievement 🏆📜
Congratulations to our winners! Remember: there’s always next year to try to be nice… or at least sneakier 😉🎁

We’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season from all of us at The Willows at Bowling Green!
We were thrilled to celebrate a little early with our Resident Christmas, and what a fantastic event it was. Every resident received a gift, Santa made a special appearance (Thank you so much Santa Jerry!), and the day was filled with wonderful live music, delicious food, and plenty of smiles and laughter. 🎅🎶🍽️
In addition to the celebration, our team at The Willows worked tirelessly on a secret surprise for the residents! They organized a picture day where every staff member and resident who wanted to participate could have their photograph taken. These photos were then thoughtfully put together into a yearbook, complete with special memories and autograph pages. The residents absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down! 📸📘
The joy didn’t end when the party was over—our residents were still talking about it the next day. Moments like these are what make our community so special, and we truly cherish the memories we create together.

Our Christmas Eve was filled with smiles, laughter, and the cutest surprise! We were lucky enough to have a visit from an adorable 2-week-old goat, and it’s safe to say he completely stole everyone’s hearts. 🐐💖
Residents loved getting to meet him, cuddle him, and even watch him play—bringing so much joy, laughter, and holiday cheer to the room. Moments like these truly make the season feel magical.
A huge thank you to the wonderful family who shared this sweet little guy with us and provided such meaningful pet therapy. Your kindness made our Christmas Eve extra special! 🎅❤️

We were honored to celebrate Hanukkah with one of our Jewish residents here at the Willows at Bowling Green. Together, we shared in the joy and meaning of the Festival of Lights—reflecting on tradition, faith, and the importance of community. Moments like these remind us how special it is to honor and celebrate the diverse backgrounds that make our campus feel like home. 💙

We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to St. Aloysius Catholic School for sending us some amazing volunteers to help out last week! Our residents always love seeing volunteers, and today was an extra special treat.
They helped with morning coffee, played euchre and volleyball with the residents, took Willow the pig around the campus, learned about Hanukkah, and even joined our walking club. 🐷🎲🏐🕎🚶‍♂️
Your time, energy, and enthusiasm brought so much joy to our community. We are so grateful for your support and for making the morning truly memorable for everyone! 💕

Our Christmas ER3 celebration was a great time, with all of our staff coming together to enjoy some well-deserved fun! We played games, shared lots of laughs, won prizes, and enjoyed delicious food together. 🎁🎉🍽️
A special thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Claus for joining us and taking group pictures with us—it made the celebration even more festive and fun! 🎅🤶📸

We had the most beautiful Christmas brunch celebrating the season with our residents and their families! Santa made a special appearance, the food was absolutely delicious, and the room was filled with laughter, joy, and holiday cheer. 🎅🍽️❤️
Seeing our residents spend such special time with their loved ones made the day even more meaningful. It truly was a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season together and create memories we’ll cherish.

Innovation in Action 💡

Here at The Willows at Bowling Green, we believe in continuously growing and learning to better serve those in our care. Our Therapy Department has been selected to pilot the NeuroGym, an advanced piece of equipment that provides counter-weight assistance during weight-bearing activities.

This technology allows for increased repetitions during therapy sessions, helping both lower-level and higher-level patients work more efficiently toward their individualized therapy goals—and reach them sooner.

We are proud to offer therapy services for both in-house residents and members of the community through outpatient therapy.
