This is a great way to stretch out the pecs, the rhomboids, the muscles hanging out in your shoulder blades plus the bi and triceps a break. Plus, if you scoot your b***y up to a sofa or a chair and rest your legs up there instead of having him flat on the floor that will give them break and help stretch out your low back.

I have a few Petosky stones that I found myself. Anyone else collected and polished for themselves? If you haven’t, you might be surprised to know that they look like pretty much like an ordinary gray rock laying in there in the water. You have to kind of know what you’re looking for.

This ancient stone is composed of fossilized coral reef fragments shaped by glacification. Ice sheets carried these stones from their bedrock, smoothed their rough edges, and deposited them in Michigan’s Upper and Northwestern Peninsula, where they are now iconic treasures.

Origins and Name

The stone’s name holds a fascinating story, with two possible origins:
1. Connection to the City of Petoskey: Named after the Michigan city, itself associated with Chief Pet-O-Sega of the Ottawa Native American tribe.
2. "Ray of the Living Sun": An English adaptation of the Native American word Bidassia, which reflects the stone's connection to warmth, light, and life.
In 1965, the Petoskey Stone was officially designated the State Stone of Michigan, gaining international fame when a large specimen was displayed on Barack Obama’s desk in the Oval Office.

Where Preseli is unique to only Wales , Blue John is unique to England. It is one of the oldest and most famous varieties of Fluorite in the world, found only near Castleton in Derbyshire.

It is highly prized for its unique purplish-blue and cream yellow color, and its fourteen distinctive veining and banding patterns, created by filmy inclusions of petroleum millions of years ago.

Used throughout the 18th and 19th centuries in decorations and Jewellery, this mineral is now scarce, though small amounts are still mined each year from the famous Blue John Cavern and Treak Cliff Cavern

The name Blue John is believed to come from the French bleu-jaune, meaning “blue-yellow,” and is also referred to as Derbyshire Blue John and Derbyshire Spar.

Blue John Fluorite carries the spirit of change and personal growth. It encourages spontaneity and the desire for new experiences.
