🌏✨ Travel Club: Destination India!

Our residents “traveled” to India this month and had an amazing time exploring the sights, flavors, and traditions of this vibrant country!

We enjoyed delicious Indian food, watched informative videos about India’s culture and landmarks, and even tested our knowledge with a fun round of trivia. From learning to laughing, it was a day full of discovery and connection.

🎉👵 Fun Game Time 👵🎉

First up on our activity list was the hilarious “Granny Pants Game” — and it was a hit! Tory, our BOM, along with a few staff members, jumped right in and played alongside our residents.

Laughter filled the room as everyone enjoyed this silly, spirited game together. Moments like these remind us how much joy a little fun and togetherness can bring! 💜✨

Residents enjoyed a festive St. Patrick’s Day celebration filled with green beer, Jiggs dinner, and a delicious themed cake. Irish music set the mood as everyone joined in for dollar trivia and lots of laughter. The highlight of the day was a surprise visit from a giant, dancing leprechaun—bringing smiles, photos, and plenty of St. Paddy’s Day cheer!

Please join us in celebrating Mike Brewster for Social Services Month!
Mike is an LSW, a National Guard Veteran, and has proudly served as a Resident Services Coordinator with HCF since 2008. He joined our Bowling Green Manor family in 2020 and has been making a positive impact ever since.
He enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with his loved ones.
Mike says the best part of his job is “having positive interactions with residents every day.”
His coworkers describe him as kind‑hearted, patient, and always advocating for our residents.
We’re grateful for you, Mike! 💙👏

One of our residents, John, surprised us with the sweetest custom shirt that says: “Bowling Green Manor is the Best.” 🥹💛

His smile says it all — and gestures like this remind us why we love what we do.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Coffee & Creamer Donation Drive! ☕️

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to wheel in a full cart of donations to Angels in Arms, helping support local Veterans in need.

We are proud to give back to those who have given so much, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that shows such strong support for our Veterans. ❤️
