Heads up, make sure you give yourself a little extra time if you're heading to an appointment with us, Wood County WIC, or to Wood County Health Department as the City of Bowling Green, Ohio is performing pavement repairs.

🚧Traffic Alert🚧
E. Gypsy Lane will be closed to through traffic between Campbell Hill and Dunbridge Rd. from 7 AM–4 PM on Nov. 20–21 for pavement repairs. Access to local services will be maintained to the extent possible.

Please note that the closure dates are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.

At Wood County Community Health Center, our on-site pharmacy is part of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, helping eligible patients save significantly on essential prescriptions. To qualify, patients simply need to see one of our providers and meet income guidelines.

Pharmacy Hours:
• Monday: 9 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m.

Thank you, The Morning Show BG, for such a fun start to the morning! We had a blast chatting with you and the Wood County Committee On Aging.

We got some great news this morning about a collaboration that's getting underway between the Wood County Committee On Aging and the Wood County Health Center to support our seniors who are dealing with mental health challenges.

Click on the link in the comments below to hear our conversation this morning with Lindsey Ruivivar, CEO of the Wood County Community Health Center, and Lisa Myers, MSW, LISW-S, Director of Social Services at the Wood County Committee on Aging, about a stress management educational session the health center did recently and the upcoming plans for one-on-one counseling sessions starting later this month. Lisa also spoke about reducing stigma about behavioral health services amongst the older adult population.

Lindsey also put Lisa and I through a decompressing exercise we can all use during stressful times in our daily lives. Check it out!
