What an amazing turnout! 🎉 Our Executive Director Marcia, direct care staff Tammy and Brandi, and person served Shannon hosted our first event at Lesa’s Dairy Dip on Saturday, and the community showed up in a big way! 🙌 Thanks to everyone who stopped by to support the cause, we raised over $700 for the Brain Injury Association of America! 🧠

Guests who donated were also entered into a special drawing for a Blackstone griddle package! Every donation helps support education, advocacy, and resources for individuals living with brain injury. 💚

We’re so grateful for the incredible community support! 🙏 Don’t miss our next event at Lesa’s this Friday! 😊🍦

Creativity and a little sweetness made for a great therapy activity! 🍀🍪

Shannon and OT Kassidy celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by making festive leprechaun cookies. 😋 Decorating and shaping the cookies was a great way to practice fine motor skills and hand coordination. Activities like this help build strength, precision, and confidence while keeping therapy engaging. 🙌

💡Let’s clear up a common misconception.

Many people misunderstand what a brain injury actually is. A brain injury is not the same as an intellectual or developmental disability. Instead, it occurs when the brain is damaged by trauma or a medical event, such as a fall, car accident, stroke, or lack of oxygen.

Because the brain controls so many functions, the effects can impact memory, speech, movement, emotions, and behavior—and every person’s recovery journey looks different.

During Brain Injury Awareness Month, NeuLife Rehabilitation is committed to sharing accurate information, raising awareness, and supporting individuals on their recovery journey. We’re also helping raise funds for the important work of the Brain Injury Association of America, which provides education, advocacy, research, and resources for those affected by brain injury.

The more we understand, the better we can support one another. 💚

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. 🧠

Every year, millions of individuals and families are impacted by brain injury. By sharing facts, raising awareness, and supporting research, we can help create a future with better care, stronger resources, and more hope for those affected.

At NeuLife Rehabilitation, we see the power of recovery every day. This month, we’re proud to support the mission of the Brain Injury Association of America by helping raise funds for programs, advocacy, research, and support services for individuals living with brain injuries.

Knowledge is powerful. The more we learn, share, and advocate, the stronger our community becomes. 💚

If you'd like to support this important cause, consider donating through one of our NeuLife location fundraising pages and help us continue raising awareness throughout March.
