I’m in need of a NP, PA and physician ASAP, now more than ever! This week has been one of those weeks that would make a brother throw in the towel on his dream. I almost did too. This was one of those no steps forwards 2 steps back kind of weeks, but for all those who know me, I’m not one to give up so quickly. Soothsayers and hecklers, you must not know me that well 😉 I’m in even more of a need for a PA or NP and possibly (likely) MD or DO to act as collaborating physician. Unfortunately, some of the medical groups and hospitals in the area felt our small operation may be enough competition that they enforced their non compete clause (even after giving the medical director the ok).

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t have a conflict or non compete contract with any of the local hospitals, but if you do give me a shout and we can talk about working on taking patients outside of your non compete area. If you’re currently working with home health or a physician to manage a chronic wound, please reach out!? We are here to serve the community and enrich the lives of so many who have been suffering from debilitating wounds. Until you reach out, do yourself and I a favor, keep in clean, change the dressings as prescribed, and keep eating that protein. Give me a shout if you’re suffering from a wound and would like to know how to increase your protein intake!

We’ve got some exciting news! We are now credentialed with Medicare! With that being said, we can’t come to your door just yet. As this came so unexpectedly with the government currently shutdown, we have a few things to tackle. Currently we are aiming at the end of this month or beginning of December. If you have a chronic wound and you are currently under a Medicare plan, please reach out, as there is some things we can do to prepare you for our services. Our credentialing department will be working on Medicaid, and the major insurance providers here in the state in the next coming weeks. Stay tuned for more news as the next few weeks we will be moving rapidly forward! Remember, follow your physician’s orders, keep those wounds clean, and do what you can to improve your protein intake. Sticking to those things are the 1st steps to healing a chronic wound.
