If you have never tasted prime rib before, how can you compare it to ordinary hamburger? You can't because you have no knowledge, experience, or understanding of prime rib, thus you have no basis for comparison. Choosing requires a knowledge of differences....
If an addict has only darkness in their life, how can they ever choose light if they have never been in its presence?
We have seen that by offering light, at least a person now has something to compare their darkness to. And with establishing a basis for choice, we have created motivation, something lacking when you only have darkness to compare more darkness to......
If a man's time with us only accomplishes that....establishing a basis of comparison....then we have added one more step in their restoration process....a process that involves many such small yet fundamental steps...

Thank you Ish Freeman of Freeman Auto for finding us such an awesome van and handling all the necessary paperwork! The Ark now has a 2019 Honda Odyssey van for the men to use. And its a beauty!
Also THANK YOU to all the many donors for your generosity! This van is fully paid for and once again, we Thank God for His provision and His working in the hearts of His people!!!

As we come into the Thanksgiving season, we reflect on the blessings received from God throughout the year. And it stirs in us the desire to share and reach out to others in need.
It is also an emotional time for those who don't have family or who have been shunned by family due to their addiction behavior. And their need for love can be overwhelming.
If you are looking for an opportunity to show love for others, please consider financially helping our men as they continue their journey of recovery and restoration. All donations are tax free and all of your donation goes directly to meeting the individual needs of our men.

We can teach about the promises of God, that surrender leads to victory, that as a child of God, we are a new creation and that old things pass away and all things become new, and so forth...
But when you see and hear from a man who is living evidence to all that truth, its powerful and impactful!
Today Dave shared his life story and testimony of the power of God in his life. To hear from where he came, to hear about who he once was, to hear about how he lived, and to hear about the loss he endured, left you wondering how he could became the man that sat before us today. There was no denying the transformation. There was no denying the miracles. There was no denying the changed heart. And there was no denying God in all of it!
Talk about a great teaching time today! It was living and breathing truth sitting and speaking right in front of us all!
Today God blessed the ARK with another 'teacher', a living testimony of His glorious mercy, grace, and redemption! Words just can't do today's 'lesson' justice.......
