FOX Optimal Living Update!
November was another lively month here at Chestnut Knoll with our FOX Optimal Living Program! Our residents stayed active and engaged with a mix of festive and familiar favorites. One of the highlights was our annual Turkey "Hunt", with lots of laughs and friendly competition all around. We also kept everyone moving with multiple rounds of balloon volleyball, which continues to be one of our most popular group activities. This time, we decided to use a MASSIVE balloon! Really working on our overhand strength for the upcoming Balloon Volleyball league against the senior center.
We’re also proud to share that our residents averaged 127.2 minutes of exercise (average per resident per week) throughout November. This is a fantastic reflection of their participation, motivation, and the dedication of our FOL team in keeping sessions fun and accessible for all.
As we head into December, we’re excited to keep the energy high with fun and festive activities. We’re gearing up for our annual Elf on the Shelf hunt, along with Big Tic Tac Toe and Bocce Ball to round out the month. We’re looking forward to another month of movement, engagement, and lots of holiday cheer!
