Want to support your brain health? Lace up your shoes! 👟

A new study found that in older adults, walking 5,000–7,500 steps per day was associated with slower mental decline, even in those with early signs of Alzheimer’s.

Movement helps the brain clear harmful proteins that contribute to the development of Alzheimer’s disease.

Next time you walk the dog, park farther away, or take the stairs, remember: you’re not just exercising… you’re investing in your future brain. 🧠

Here’s one more reason to choose chiropractic first!

An extensive study of nearly 50,000 adults found that people who received spinal manipulation for new low back pain were:

✅ 80% less likely to develop opioid use disorder
✅ 77% less likely to become long-term opioid users
✅ Less likely to be prescribed opioids in the first place

The takeaway? Chiropractic care is an evidence-based, drug-free approach that helps you feel better without the risks of long-term medication. ✨

🎀Meet the Team Monday🎀
"Hi, I am Stephanie!

I've been a part of the Park's Chiropractic team for a little over four years. Before joining this great team, I spent 24 years as a hairstylist and later worked in rehab, hospice, & with individuals living with Alzheimer's & Dementia. I am engaged to a wonderful, fun man & am a proud step-mom to two great teenage kids. Outside of work, my passions include animals, family, holistic & spiritual healing (through my business, Nevaeh Earth Angel), plants, & all things connected to Mother Earth. You'll often find me out in nature— hiking, walking, picking up trash, or simply soaking in the beauty around me. I also love spending time with my animals, helping other animals, family, traveling, enjoying photography, singing & dancing, attending holistic events, being creative, gardening veggies & herbs, tending to plants, reading, journaling, & so much more.

I am loving, kind, compassionate, empathetic, calm, peaceful, friendly, & naturally grounding. I truly enjoy connecting with people & supporting them throughout their healing journey. It brings me joy to celebrate with you as you reach your goals-mind, body & spirit-from start to finish.

Love • Peace • Smiles"

Want to keep your memory sharp? 🧠

Research shows that older adults with spinal pain may be more likely to experience memory and thinking difficulties. Taking care of your spine through regular chiropractic care, movement, and posture support may help protect both your body and brain.

Don’t ignore spinal pain. Healthy habits today can support your mind and mobility tomorrow! 🙌
