Jennifer Mitchell has been a practicing Florida Licensed Midwife for twenty-one years. Jennifer graduated from The National School of Technology Midwifery Program in Miami Florida with an Associate’s Degree in Midwifery in 1996. After graduating she began her career by working at the Hollywood Birth Center in Hollywood and starting her Home Birth practice. Shortly after Jennifer began working with Dr. Wayne Di Giacomo OB at his office on Funston Street in Hollywood while still doing home birth. Dr.D then decided to open A Birth Center in Hallandale at which time Jennifer was his senior Midwife. In 2009 A Woman’s Way opened it’s doors as Jennifer realized her dream of having her own Birth Center while still accommodating her home birth Moms. Due to knee surgery and other factors in 2012 the Center had to close and Jennifer went back to her roots in Home Birth. At present Jennifer is working with Midwife Mandy Rojas at the Palm Beach Maternity Center but her home birth practice is still going strong as this is where her heart is.
