Eternal Light Memorial Gardens is South Florida’s premier all-Jewish cemetery. Having developed our first Garden of Israel and Temple Emeth sections in 1978, we soon added additional gardens dedicated to local temples, Pythians, Workman's Circle and Jewish war veterans. Through the years, we have been fortunate to have the consistent support of the local Rabbinical community as well as the wider Jewish community, allowing us to stay true to our mission. Thanks to dedication, hard work and attention to detail, we have become the first choice for Jewish families in Broward, Palm Beach and Martin County. We provide around-the-clock service with our funeral directors available by phone 24/7/365.

As of 12/15/25, the new elevator shaft exterior has been completed. We are working diligently with FPL to set up power access to our 2nd story and elevator. The remaining granite is expected to be delivered by the end of February.

While we await the rest of the granite, the construction team is working on finishing the roof and lighting on both the 1st and 2nd levels. We will update with more information as it becomes available to us.

As 2025 comes to an end, it is important for us to celebrate all of the hard work and dedication our teams show eachother and the families we serve throughout the year. On December 2nd we celebrated the Eternal Light and Beth Israel teams with a lovely night of dining and dancing at Benvenuto's Banquet Facility in Boynton Beach. Along with our teams and their plus 1, a lovely evening was had by all. THANK YOU TO OUR TEAMS FOR EVERYTHING THEY DO DAY IN AND DAY OUT AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOURS!

Cemetery Update:

Eternal Light has installed an official handwashing station at the cemetery's exit road. Located on the North side of the Admin building, families will have the ability to perform the ritual of handwashing. After a Jewish Funeral, mourners wash their hands ritually to symbolize purification, a separation from death, and a return to the world of the living. This custom involves pouring water over each hand alternately, not drying them, and placing the cup upside down afterwards. This ritual can be done before leaving a cemetery or before entering the home for Shiva.
