We are so grateful for the generous support that helps make Rock Steady Boxing possible at the Gallatin Valley YMCA!

This program is supported by a community grant from the Parkinson's Foundation, with additional support from Bozeman Health. Because of this investment, individuals living with Parkinson’s in our community can build strength, confidence, and connection in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Thank you to our partners for helping bring health, hope, and encouragement to the Gallatin Valley.

Distance should never be a barrier to life-saving treatment. For many in southwest Montana, “time toxicity”—the physical, emotional, and financial strain of long-distance travel—is a significant hurdle in the fight against cancer.

We are proud to highlight a strategic partnership between Barrett Hospital & HealthCare and Bozeman Health that is changing the landscape of rural medicine. By integrating Bozeman’s oncology expertise and operational training with Barrett’s local accessibility, this program is working to ensure that high-quality care is accessible.

This initiative, launched through the ASCO Increasing Access to Cancer Care in Rural Montana program, allows patients to receive specialized treatments without the burden of extensive travel.

We recently spoke with local pastor Tom Luksha about his experience. After facing a grueling travel schedule for treatment and monitoring, the opening of the Barrett Hospital infusion center cut his journey by more than half, allowing him to trade the highway for the comfort of home.
