Thanks to you, MMP is celebrating 6 years of teaching in Bozeman and Montana communities. Love makes the world go ‘round—and your gift supports MMP’s teaching—to reach more kids and adults. We have a generous matching gift of $20,000 for gifts to MMP this holiday season.

With your help to reach this match, we will continue to teach mindfulness skills—the life-giving, life-saving medicine our kids, families, and communities need right now.

Mindful eating with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Montana State University.

Sniffing and listening bring curiosity forward for savoring.

Next time you eat, notice what you smell before taking that first bite. You might notice your mouth watering with excitement to eat.

Montana Association for the Education of Young Children Conference Goodies:

In our session we had the privilege of connecting with just over 30 early educators from across the state — together representing an astounding 524 years of experience in the field!

During our closing two-word check-out, participants shared how they were feeling: inspired, prepared, excited, motivated, connected, grateful, calm, relaxed, and equipped — just to name a few.

One participant shared that the grounding guided meditation at the start of our time together was the first moment her nervous system had truly felt rest since sustaining a traumatic brain injury months prior that had prevented her from moving into a rest state—a powerful reminder of the importance of mindfulness practices in our work and our lives.

Another expressed gratitude for the tangible takeaways and tools that could be implemented immediately upon returning to the classroom Monday morning.

Many participants also voiced enthusiasm for continuing their learning with MMP, saying they’re eager to join upcoming virtual offerings for early educators.

We’re deeply grateful for the passion, dedication, and heart these educators bring to their work — and honored to be part of their ongoing professional and personal journey!

Mindful Tuesdays kick off tonight at 7:30 PM (MST) with Lisa Joslyn exploring the powerful emotion of anger. She’ll guide you to feeling it and releasing it in a healthy way.

Zoom link is in our bio.

Lisa is both an inner and outer explorer—curious about the landscapes of the mind as much as the beauty of the natural world. Her journey into mindfulness began in college, where she discovered how presence could transform worry into wonder, and rumination into creativity and play.

Since 2021, she has taught mindfulness with the Montana Mindfulness Project, sharing practices that cultivate self compassion. Through her company, Nature Seen, she guides experiences in Yellowstone that invite participants to see—and feel—the wild world with new eyes.

Her two kids expand her mindfulness practices reminding her of the joy in the mundane.
